    Cleaning Boat Seats

Anyone have any good suggestions on what to use when cleaning the seats in your Skeeter ? I have pewter w/ white inserts and the inserts tend to get a little bit stained.

You can use some Castrol SuperClean (Wal-Mart), but make sure you dilute it first (50/50). It removes most anything. Then apply a good vinyl protectant.

Simple Green works great too. You can put it on straight, or dilute it, and it won't hurt a thing (Smells good too)....

I haven't used them but I remember someone here saying that the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work well on boat seats.

You hit the nail on the head. these thing work well. they can not be beat for vinyl ( in good shape ) and plastic . just keep in mind that you do not need to rub that hard. better safe than sorry after they are clean put a protectant on them. I use 303 Aerospace protectant. leaves UV protection on them. here is a link to them.

MacQuiers vinyl and rubber cleaner. Takes all the dirt off plus treats fabric. Real easy to work with. Depending on how dirty they are. Spray on, let it sit about 30 seconds on the real bad stuff, and wipe off. Real nice stuff.
