I started by just guessing at the 1 ounce per 15 gallons mixture for Ring Free, but I went through a 12 oz bottle long before I had burned 180 gallons of gas. At more than $1.00 an ounce I decided to take the guesswork out of the equation. I first tried a small baby bottle, but it was always lost in the truck somewhere. Then I saw the small 8 oz bottle of Sta-Bil Fuel Stabilizer at the auto parts store and knew it would be perfect. It has ¼ and ½ ounce marks on the measurement tube, which is perfect for my normal usage. I made use of the Sta-Bil in the family vehicles, mowers, and gas can. Filled the bottle with Ring Free and marked the container (½ oz = 7.5 gal) With the Ring Free in the measuring device there is nothing to misplace in the truck. Problem solved.
