Keeping things simple means you have less chance of screwing it up .

I have one, but it's far from a bass boat. It's an Adventura 214. It was my grandpas for 30 years until he passed away. Now I'm in the process of replacing a bunch of wires and getting it up and running reliably again.

Well, I dont have it anymore, but I use to own a 1977 HPV175 with a merc 175 on it. My dad bought the boat new and I bought it from him when i moved out of the house and got on my own feet. It was an awesome boat, not a speed deamon, but great performer all around.

here is how it was when i got it home

another of how trashed the lack of interiour was

here is how the baot looks now after being restored.

    and the interior

sorry i dont have any pics of thestringer and transom replacement my camera got wrecked taking all the pics with it. before i get crap for having a force on it i needed a motor for the boat and came across this engine for $200 not running, it was a bad breaker that caused it not to run so im in it really cheap. all in all ive got 400 total into the boat including all the supplies to do the stringers and transom as well as restoring the sun beat gelcoat back to almost perfect condition. i still need to figure out some prop issues as im only seeing mid to low 40s and would like more. this is my first boat and so far im happy with it but i have to say it can be a very wet ride at time lol. its good to hear there at least a couple of these classics still around, i get lots of guys at tournies asking about the boat and giving me shit about the power choice until they hear how much i have into it.

    Re: (ShawnD)

i still have the boat and yes i can fit rods in it. i have a rod locker set up in the left storage compartment but i normally keep them strapped down on the front deck. this summer im removing the from seats and making the front one large deck with more storage as this boat lacks the compartments. if you have any questions please email me at everydayangler@gmail. there isnt many of these boats left around so im trying to keep it around as ive got very little into it anyway.
