Is this a ranger boat?

I was just wondering if most people would consider this boat in the Ranger section or not it is a 1984 Rawhide that was made by woods manufacturing. The Ranger sticker on the trailer was added by the previous owner. I was also wondering if anyone knows much about these boats as i have never seen another one like it?

I would consider it a Ranger. An early version marketed for the person that wanted to spend less money.

Yep, if it was manufactured by Wood MFG it is a Ranger.

I have seen a few of these. They are more like Forest Woods original design and definitely a Ranger. I have a friend in Wisconsin that has one in pristeen condition. He keeps it indoors and only uses it a few times a year.

I agree, if Mr. Forrest manufactured it, it's a Ranger.

I do own it and it is not in all that great of shape it was in a car acident 2 owners ago and slid down the highway on its cap so the owner before me had it fixed up the fiberglass repair was good but it was painted and cleared insted of a gelcoat but i do enjoy fishing out of it even though it is only 15 1/2 feet long it is a little short but it has never let me down yet and I am in the works of rewireing it right now and adding a new depthfinger to the councle. I was just looking to see if any one knew anything about these boats as i have never seen another one like it
