I have a 97 409 TDC javelin 225 rude vindicator.

Having a problem where I can run all day sometimes with no issue other times it sucks the primer bulb and gas line dry.

Once its dry I cannot get the line to reprime it just sits empty and nothing happens. Then if it sits for a few hours and I come back to it the line will be full again.

I have replaced the ball and the section from the ball back to the seperator, as well as removed the seperator from the equation to see if it was the problem no dice...

IM pretty sure the pump is ok as the boat will run itself dry so I am "assuming" the problem is from the seperator in the short distance of line back.

Im wondering if I have the fuel elbow with the ball in it that I have heard about. Supposedly if you have one like that and it sticks it will cause a blockage?

Im kind of at a loss and wondering if there is a way to diagnose this without ripping the interior and seats out of the boat??

And even doing so is the tank accesible to the line??

Any help is appreciated!!
