Not got any response over in the restoration section so thought I'd throw it out over here. Is it possible to replace the bench style seat in my 1989 363v with the bucket type seats? Or is that opening up a can of worms?

On my dads 361 I put seats in it from boatseatstore.com or whatever the sponsor is here. I built a platform out of plywood then mounted the seats to that. The only issue and its no fault of the seat is they are taller and the back is thicker so it takes up some valuable console comfort room for the driver.
