I bought a 92 Ranger 482VS and was wondering the best way to put rods 7ft and longer in the rod lockers without breaking them...The Starboard side has a rod rack but I am having trouble getting my Powell rods in there.

Martin-i had a 461VS and found the best way to get 7' rods in was to put them in before any shorter rods and you angle/lay them down in one swoop (hard to describe, but you'll know when you try). I would agree w/ the post above and use stik jackets to protect the tip and line. Good Luck!
