Black residue

I have a white inside deck and console area and it's starting to get some black residue building up on it, what is a good cleaner to get it off?

Acetone (finger nail polish remover) and a little wax afterward.

Have the same thing on mine I use grease lightning then some good paste wax. The nec time it wasnt bad to get off. My guess its road grime and oil off the highway.

I use a wet rag, followed by a dry rag. Mine comes from deisel exhaust. It just wipes right off.

If it's from rod tips, ect rubbing on it, just use Windex. Works great for me.
