If you fish lots of brackish water, aluminium is the way to go![]()
Salt water, brackish water, Aluminum is the best way to go. I dont know of anyone making one for a Phoenix at this point yet, but I am sure it could be done.
It's been done already. flippinout has one under his boat from the factory.

And the cost is not out of line either. Its deff. the way to go if you fish brackish waters
I PLAINED TO GET A GATOR HIDE TRAILER. WHAT WOULD BE THE COST DIFF. TO GET ALUM.![]()
Ask your dealer, he can give you an exact figure, or craig will be along shortly to give you an estimate of what he paid.
Anyone know what company builds the trailers for Phoenix?
Thanks for your help!
Very Nice!!!! I havent seen that before, but have wondered about it.![]()

I absolutely love my aluminum trailer....now. I had a few reservations when I first saw it but it really adds to the package. NManly already posted a picture of it and I don't have any new ones yet. Aluminum is the only way to go if you're anywhere near salt water. Don't quote me on this but I think I paid about $350 more than a C-channel trailer with GatorHyde. Now...be prepared to get sticker shock if you ask about Gator Hyde on a galvanized or aluminum trailer. The labor to get it to stick to either one adds about $800-1200 if I remember right. Marine Master makes the aluminum trailer also.
The cool thing is...I think I'm the first one with the aluminum trailer on a Bird![]()
YOU R THE FIRST. I TALKED TO JEFF H. AT PHOENIX TODAY. SO FAR YOURS IS THE ONLY ONE.P.S I WILL HAVE ONE UNDER MY NEW PHOENIX WHEN I ORDER IT.
