Anyone had issues with their speedo not working? It was working fine, then just stopped. The connection on the back of the speedo may have come off. I have water coming out of the bottom of the dash at high speed.

If you have water coming from the dash, and no speedometer, that would be my guess.
My is working fine! Matter of fact, it is within 2-3mph at 70! That's pretty good![]()

Mine came off and I experienced the exact same symptoms you are having. Just open up you dash panel and push the speedo tube back on the back of your speedometer and then install a zip tie/wire tie on before the hose barb and it shouldn't come back off. Mine hasn't since.![]()
Mine is not working also.....how do you get into the dash to put the tube back onto the speedometer.....I have not noticed any water coming out of the dash though....

If there is no water coming out you may want to check the little hole where the water is forced in on the engine...any little piece of trash or wood or weeds will clog it up...straighten a fish hook and clean it out and that may fix your issue...I have had to look at mine very close sometimes before you actually notice its stopped up.

Like Layne said if you don't see water it is most likely not a problem in the dash. However, i guess it could be a pinched hose. Anyways. there are five screws around the black the dash. Pop the small covers , unscrew and pull it off. Very simple. You have access to everything in there.

Thanks for the advice. I will take the open the dash and see if the hose has come lose.
