Unloading the boats in South Africa....

Kobus had posted these to his Facebook site so I hope he doesnt mind me posting them here. Would seeing your new rig hang by 2 straps make you a little nervous? I would me!! I have been sweating bullets during this time these 2 boats have been on the shipping barge (38 days). Now if the engines would hurry up and get there. Its pretty neat seeing them go from our little shop in Hope, Arkansas to them landing in Durban, South Africa.

Congrats to Frans and Kobus!! I know ya'll have waited a long time for this!! Thank ya'll so much for having the confidence in us to get this done!!

Oh wow....look close at the straps. Is it just me, or is the front one under the trailer, but the back one is run under the hull? If so, that means really it's only held onto the trailer with the ratcheting tie downs on the rear. Yikes!

They are running under the bunks of the trailer, so it did have a little support there. If they would have ran them behind the fenders, they would have had to run them under the steps of the trailer and I dont think that would have worked out for the best.

I can promise this, Frans and Kobus were standing there making sure nothing happened to them.
