Get the biggest ones your pocket book will allow.
858 can be flush mounted on the bow as well.
You can get bigger but it will have to be ram mounted.

I have a 788 up front, but since it is a WISH list, I voted for the 958. I do wish I had a bigger graph, and/or better eyeballs.

The 998 will give you HD down imaging... even if the SI doesn't work as well as it does on the transom. Can still come in handy for drop shot or targeting deep or suspended fish with a spoon. Might also come in handy to locate schooling bass or bait off to the sides. My .02
