I dont have a Phoenix but our rigs are similar enough though. I have tried both props on my rig. The Bravo was the best I have tested for carring a load and worked very well. And the Hydro had the best midrange punch of any prop I have tested, although it was a 28P and was a little steep for me to be running in 100 deg heat. The Bravo is a good choice for those that carry heavy loads all the time. The Hydro has great potential to. Hope this helps.

I know this is not apples to apples but we did try a 26 and 28 Bravo on one of the 721's with the 300 Merc. The holeshot was good on both with the 26 of course coming out of the hole better. The 26 is the one that Frans ended up going with simply because they are at 4500 ft altitude. We never were able to really string the boat out due to it not being fully broke in but at 5000 rpm, the 28 was cruising at 70mph (gps). I really think a worked 26 Bravo 1 would be the ticket for a 721/250 ProXS.
Im very interested to see, dont want to dump a bunch of money in prop testing.. im pretty happy with the performance now.. but hey theres always room for improvement.
intersted to see how the bravo 1 XS performs..
