Anyone out there with a 286 Vee that can give me any info on how fast this boat is with a 150 on it and also not being a guy who knows a ton about outboards...what is the biggest difference between the Merc 150 EFI and the Merc 150 Opti?? Thanks.

The biggest difference between the EFI and Opti is the fuel mileage and oil usage. It's not as noticable on the 150's as it is on the 225's and such, but it is still noticeable. Speed will be within a mph or so of each other (EFI's have tended to be slightly faster).
I've not owned one, but have fished out of a couple. They are mid 60's boats when set up properly. I've heard of a couple in the upper 60's range, but that's not the norm.
