trophy plus CAV ring....needed...

ordered one yesterday from local marine...hope to have it by saturday...
loving this trophy except for one small problem...
YOU HAVE GOT TO PEDDLE IT when coming out of whole...
and this is with 4 completely closed PVS holes...
its sorta strange though...
doesn't cavitate until the bow is broken over and the RPMs are starting to climb. If you ease out of it, let it catch back up, THEN you can throw the hammer back down and start trimming and JUST HOLD ON...but if you never ease out of it after the nose breaks, it will almost lose plane...

Sounds like the motor might be slightly too high? What pitch Trophy?

When you get the cavitation ring you are going to have to re open and play with the holes... I believe he has a 27 al.

yeah its a 27, currently i've got ALL 4 holes plugged, but after installing the cav ring not sure how many i should drop back to..

has anyone else added one that can give me an idea...i wont have time to test it before tourney saturday...
unless someone knows for sure what worked for them with the proxs and cav ring 27 trophy, i'll prolly not put it on till sunday when i have time to mess around...
