Hypothetical setup question- mercury 200xs

If i match a new Merc 200xs with the 15in mid section to a 2001 Gambler Outlaw single console, and it has a Detwiler hydraulic jackplate, will the 15in lower work fine? Also since this motor can turn 7000 rpm, on the lightest of Gambler hulls, what speeds are possible? I know guys put these on Ally bass boats, but my Gambler is about 350lbs heavier I believe.

Well I'm definitely not a setup expert and I could be totally wrong, but I sure can't see how a 15" will work on a Gambler.

i had a 2003 outlaw with a 2002 beast of a 225 EFI...
DEF needs to be 3" below pad to get speed...dont waste time is my suggestion...
find you a 20" mid and enjoy a 77 mph GPS boat...
