prop help needed... GT183

Ok... I have a GT183, hangin off a 10" atlas JP, is a carbed, 2.4L, 200hp. No holeshot plate yet, but that's comin... what I'm lookin for is a few suggestions on which prop to use. I've got a 25p trophy plus on my 175 merc, but I'm thinkin I'm gonna need more prop with the 200. Would like to have a decent holeshot and still get er up to 75ish Any insight and or suggestions are apprieciated. Thanks guys.

A 25p razor 3 would hit the sweet spot for ya but 75 would be a stretch more likely 70-71ish light

I would try that 25 Trophy Plus, that is what I ran on my 200 and I loved it.

I almost positve I can get 70 with the trophy plus and my 175, at 54-5500 rpm w/25p trophy, im at 66-7 (gps) mph. It easily goes past the 6k mark, I just choose not to spin it that high. The 200 I got is safely turnin 6700 rpm. I was thinkin bout a 27p tempest... any thoughts? The experience that you Gambler guys have (regarding set ups) is priceless and I do thank you for the input.

i wouldn't do any buying of props yet....
RUN the 25 TROPHY first....
come back on here with the exact results....then you'll get some good feedback on what to do...
gonna be hard to beat that 25 trophy....

i dont think 6700 would be safe for the long life of any motor on a fishing bass boat...especially the 200, i hope that was a typo..because there should not be that much difference in rpm...set it up to run 6100 or so......i had a pretty bad 200 on my 183..and about all i could spin on it was a 26...i would also run what you have now to get a good baseline before you invest money in a prop...that said...i would take a good look at the 3 blade razor...in a 25 or 26 pitch.....

Thanks guys... I was thinkin the same, bout settin it up to turn 61-6200 rpm. I don't wanna turn 6700, I jus know the motor does it. Ill send my prop to Mark C. To have him work his magic and see what happens. Thanks guys... your help is greatly appreciated!
