98' 191 live well light fixture broke

I had the plastic light fixture break in my live well. Has anyone else had this happen and what did they do to replace or fix the problem? It appears that I will have to remove the gas tank to access the back of the live well where the light is. Any suggestion as to how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeremy

No livewell lights here, either. Must be an add-on by a prior owner.

You should not have to remove fuel tank to get to livewell wall. There is a panel behind the fuel tank which will need to be removed. It will be tight, but others have done it to get to the Hydro pump. Someone should be along with directions....

I had to replace my hydro air pump last year, the panel that holds your onboard battery charger comes off, unscrew that panel and lift up and out, from there you can reach down and access the livewell pumps and or in your case, the livewell light. I will be adding a light there in the future as well.

I added two round water proof LED lights below the water line, wired to the accessory switch. Zero issues.
