I think it has been posted before that the hydro doesn't carry the load real well, as in it will loose considerable speed when loaded up, tank and livewells full, with a passenger.

I know my load is different but, my hydro has done pretty well, its a 28 though. I actually like the security i get in hydro being able to run them without the worry of slinging a blade. check out the power tech prop as well... they are the original props that were run on Gamblers in the get-go so you might like that prop as well.
I think you have some bad info. The Hydromotive Quad series carries a load better than any prop on the market. It won't sling blades and it will murder the Trophy on hole shot
Depends what "hydromotive" prop your talking about ? They make about 15 different styles of which about 3 are suitable for your boat.
I ran a 28 trophy on my old gambler and never had a problem. Everyone I talk to says the quad hydro will improve hole shot and top end and once I run one I will use the trophy as a back up. Just want to get some input before getting the hydro made for my boat.
