    My 'little' project...

OK, I will be begining my little project that I've been planning how for close to a year here in the next week or so...here's what I've got in the works...I'm replacing my broke Lowrance x75 from the bow with a HDS7, I'm replacing the Lowrance Flasher in the helm with a HDS5 (flush mount)....so I am then replacing the metal dash bezel with a new one so I can rearange the guages a bit to make the 5 fit where the flasher was. I may go ahead and replace the steering wheel and guages while it's apart. Also, I will be networking the two new units together and installing Bluewater LED lighting thru-out. Any tips on running the wiring and taking things apart would be great, I have tried to get the wheel off numerous times with no avail....thoughts? If anyone wants to lend a helping hand, that woul dbe welcomed aswell...Id say I'll need all the help I can get!

ive thought about this too... the steering wheel is tough. I tried a newer style wheel, but liked mine better. The newer ones are larger. Good luck!

Man that sounds like a big project but will be sweet when you finish.
