Don't know about the 209.
However, I run a stock 26 Trophy Plus on my 193 w/ 200EFI. Which is being dropped off tomorrow for some Tip Cup and quick polish. Everyone told me "there was no way the 200 will turn it, but if it does she'll rip."
If you go with the 25 you could always have more pitch put in it. My old Predator I was turning to many RPM's, had it cleaned up & the pitch checked about 25.5 (found a flaw in welded ear, now it's a paper-weight,) so I stepped up to the 26 Trophy which just happened to be sitting on John's shelf clean/used.
Not a prop or motor guy, but IMO the 3.0L should be able to turn more than a 25.
Be careful on buying a cheap Trophy it may not be the good alloy, make sure there is an "A" in the number stamped on barrel.

I have 2-26 Trophy's I cant use that I will sell. One i bought used and one i bought new.
