Did not catch any fish but got to run her pretty good first time since the adjustments from Hydrotec and break-in. Motor is much more reliable and is deffinatly stronger in the mid range. Hydrotec built me a new powerhead 2.6 Pro-v 200 slightly less porting on the Exaust, B&B rotating assembly, exst. tuner, light flywheel, cross drill intake, larger 170 jets, Lowwater Bob's noseconed lower unit. Power was dynoed @ 270 @ 6000 RPM. Today I ran fully loaded 78 GPS @ 6200 rpm Easily first run out with a 15 mph side wind. I drilled an extra set of 3/8 holes in the 27 tempest and now my hole shot is great. It is not the fastest my boat has run but it is the best it has run overall. The last motor I ran from Hydrotec had a little higher RPM peak in hp burt this one is deffinatly stronger inthe Midrange and just sounds better all around. I Spring and warmer weather we hit 50 today and the water temp was 42.
