Gambler Hull Question

Whats the longest screw That I can use in the bottom of my 2007 Mdl. 2000? This would be distance between inner and outer hull.

J H C some ones gotta know, I want to put a battery tray there, the Optma starting battery will not fit where the old ones at. Its much larger, and I really dont want to drill a hole into the outer hull????

I wouldn't go longer then 3/8 maybe1/2!!!

Thanks dartman, Wow I was hoping to use at least a 3/4 inch screw. May have to rethink this location.

you're talking about drilling into the top of a stringer, you've got a couple of inches...besides, if you put some lock tite or some seal all around the bottom of the head of the screw, it won't leak even if you did go through both...but as long as you stay in the top of the stringer you'll be fine...check out the gambler website where it shows the design of the Stringers...
