How do I use the speedo pickup o the L/U? do I just pop the tube off the transom mounted one and connect to the motor or is there other things that need to be done?
How do I use the speedo pickup o the L/U? do I just pop the tube off the transom mounted one and connect to the motor or is there other things that need to be done?

That will work but, it will look better if you pull the hose back to where the cables come out of the boat.....Then under the motor pans there is a hole the shift rod comes through, run the hose down through that hole, it helps to turn the motor.
