Hi Vince. I checked around several auto parts stores and found a couple of shifters that had the button on the top and chose this one. I had to run a 9/16 drill bit through it to fit over the shaft, it now works great. It had a set screw to secure it to the shaft. I guess the shifter is like the basket balls, just something different that works. I get so many comments on the basket balls I now find it fun to come up with new reasons why I use them. But, regardless of what they say, my Gambler has balls.
