I went to see them in person at the Bumble Bee factory and I didn't see anything that looks like a Gambler on the the entire boat... It does have some nice features but where I think it is going to shine is the hull.. It looks like it will collect air under it for a good hole shot and ride.. It also has a couple of extra rakes on the outside edges near the rear that would make it corner really well.. I was told that the hole shot was instant with no bow rise at all.. It will also stay on plane at 15 mph and was told that it handled like a Corvette.. From the looks of the hull I would have to believe what they say is true..
Terry,to me it looks somewhat the same down the back of the transom & then looks like there are 2 running surfaces up under the bottom. The lines at the end of the 1st running surface remind me of my 209.
The transom is more like a Bumble Bee than like a Gambler.. The hull is on a 17.5 degree pitch at the pad which is slightly steeper than a Stratos but not as steep as a Gambler.. The Hull looks a lot like a Stratos but has some changes.. I just didn't see anything that looked like a Gambler to me.. I was under it , in it and all around all day.. I watched one go through various stages of production as well.. The boat is like a Stratos in some ways, in other ways it is like a Bumble Bee with a hint of Champion thrown in here and there..
