I want one. How much and where do I pay/ who? Just send me a pm or you can e-mail me at weslhg@hotmail.com. The best way is to send me an e-mail because I will get it on my phone and I can send a reply right away.

For you Mercury guys...this looks like the same product for sale at Bass Pro Shops made by Swivel-Eze - Not near as fancy looking though. One of my fishing buddies has one of these he uses on his 225 Opti and loves it.

Mattman, I am still looking for someone who has figured out how to make one for a Yamaha though????

    Re: New motor toter (DeonGipson)

It works the same as the LockNStow, but it's stronger with two "support" bars and larger pins. The socket liners are Teflon and of course it's highly polished stainless.

Not sure what it would cost if it was for sale though.

    Re: New motor toter (DeonGipson)

The LocknStow by Attwood and the Lock-n-Haul are the ONLY motor toters on the market that completely stabilize the motor and steering system. The Lock-n-Haul is the ONLY device that is universal and will work on most motors with a center mount piston hydraulic tilt and trim. I have shipped these all over the country and they are in use on Mercury, Yamaha, Evinrude, Suzuki, Honda motors, from 100-300hp. There are several other devices that use clips on the steering but there is still movement in the rigging when they are installed. The transoms of boats these days are built to support the engines that are hanging on them as evidenced by some of the major motor manufacturers recommending that NO "transom saver" be used. When you put a device between your motor and your trailer, you transfer the trailer shock from the road to the lower unit of your motor. Also if there is ANY movement of the motor during transit, the same harmful effects to your rigging take place. The design of the Lock-n-Haul utilizes engineering that effectively makes a single unit out of the boat and motor by eliminating ALL movement of the motor. The Lock-n-Haul comes in a special PVC model and a smaller diameter 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum model. The special PVC model works just as well as the aluminum model, but the aluminum model is recommended for motors that have recessed lower unit yoke bolt heads such as the Evinrude, simply because the diameter of the PVC is larger and does not insert into the recess as well as the smaller diameter aluminum. The Lock-n-Haul device is designed to last for many years and when properly installed as directed in the included users manual, there are no mechanical forces that act negatively on either of the units.

No.....that was the "inventor" of the LockNStow that threatened me after all the promoting I've done of the LockNStow over the years.

Jim.....please don't be pulling up old threads in order to promote your product, this is not fair to our paying sponsors.
