Ran my 2200 across choppy water for about 15 miles Saturday. When we reached the destination I could smell gasoline. Shut her down and opened the back hatches and found gasoline everywhere in the back compartment. The vent hose pulled off the tank nozzle and allowed gasoline to splash out of the tank. The vent hose is cut 1.5" short. It has obviously been on the nozzles neck just enough to stay in place. I placed the hose back on the tank nozzle covering about 1/2" of the nozzle neck and clamped it. We left the back lids open and allowed evaporation to take care of the mess. I still can't believe it did not catch fire.
