    Gambler Questions

Hey guys I am interested in selling my NC, and I am seriously considering a gambler, 1 because they look killer, I think they have to be one of the coolest looking boats on the water. Here is my main thing, are they fast??? And by fast I am looking for some testimonials here, how fast, what size boat and motor. I like a fast boat, but I also like one that rides good, and I have heard Gamblers have both.

Are they fast!!!I run a 1996 Intimidater /150 merc.EFI,I run 78.6 gps on a bad day probably because I have BALL's the size of tenn.and I have a merc.200 ready to be hung. The G-boat is a looker but that,s an added bonus,Ride is #1 and speed will make a novice waste his pant's.TRY IT,you'll BUY IT

I'm in, My NC moves in the 80's but it's a roller coaster ride, lol. I would love to go that fast with a nice ride to boot. I am going to keep my 2.4 that has been built and use it for the power plant, it is somewhere between 230-240hp.

do yourself a favor...and get you a 250 on a 2100...or a 225 on a 2000...i ran the 2.4 for years....and love that motor...but these 3.0 blocks are the way to go...and the fuel economy will pay for the motor in a few years...and they just flat have more power..i know its hard...but step away from the 2.4... you will be glad you did..

I will also be interested in seeing this. I could not get that out of the same style boat with a very strong 200. And barely make over 80 now with a 250.

Are you sure those size balls won't slow you down?

    Re: Gambler Questions (gambler1995)

Not quite sure what the size of balls has to do with that speed.............I can run 84 mph and it's just cruising down the lake. You need balls to run 100+ like some of the Bullet/Stroker guys do. Not to run less than 80 mph.

Re: Gambler Questions (Al from Canada)

i have seen it done with a 200...with a lot of work done to the engine on a 93 intimidator, the 96 is a little slower hull....if it runs those speeds.... it aint a 150...might say that on the cowling....but it aint no 150.....
