1997 Johnson 200 Venom

Hello,

I am looking at a 1997 LS205DC Hydra Sport with a Johnson 200 Venom. The compression is between 115 and 118 on all 6. The boat runs great and was wondering if this would be a good buy for $9,500. The boat owner has never had any problems with the motor and keeps it in the garage when not in use. All he does is fish tournaments with the boat and he has now upgraded to a new Skeeter. I know the person that is selling the boat but, I would like some opinions. This will be my first bass boat on my own. Fished my whole life with my father out of bass cats and rangers, but I want my own and can not afford those kind of boats. The motor was manufactured in 06/97. Thank you for all your opinions.

motor is a good motor , looks like the deal is decent as he is below the nada on price due to the smaller engine, maybe offer 500 less and see what he says.
