I was able to get out and test a few more props yesterday and here are the results:

Air temp 63 degrees:
Water temp 68 degree's:
Wind about 5 mph:
Humidity 40%

The first Prop I ran was a worked 27 Trophy with cup added, balanced and edges sharpened. It ran 78.90 at 5700 rpms. Hole shot was a little slower, midrange far and it had a good bit of wheel torque. Needs to be worked again It is running a little slower than it was stock .
The second prop was a prop that a guy wanted me to try it started out as a 27 TRO4. It was turned down a good bit with a little tip cup taken out and was built more as a hole shot prop.
It had a instant hole shot and I was running 72 mph is a very short distance but I hit the limiter at 77.6 mph. It was a very smooth running prop and it handled very well no other problems at all. Just needed about one pitch added for my boat.

The third prop I ran was a stock 26 TXP 4 blade I thought this would work well since my 27 TXP 4 would only turn 5580 and 80 gps. But that wasn't the case.
This prop had a very strong hole shot and midrange and would push my head back as I pushed on the throttle. But I just couldn't get any speed out of the prop no matter what I did. It turned 5800 rpms about where I thought it would but I was only able to get it to run 76.3 gps which was a surprise to me. It also made the boat porpoise quite a bit at midrange but would stop once trimmed up and running wot.
It felt more stable running wot unlike the 27 TXP 4 I have which makes you feel like the boat is running on marbles. I just could not get any speed out of the 26 TXP 4 no matter what I tried.
None of these props helped any with top end speed but The worked 27 TRO 4 and the stock 26 TXP 4 had extremely good hole shots and midrange punch.

I have a 26 TXP 3 blade that has been worked coming and another 27 TRO4 that has been worked coming and I am sending my 27 Trophy back for some more tuning also. I will let you all know the results of those as soon as I get a chance.
