    Spacers?

Do any of you use 2 inch spacers on your jackplate? Thoughts?

On your 2200 with a bobs 10" setback i dont think it would do anything for you.

    I have a 2" spacer on mine.

    Dont know why

Was rigged that way from the factory. (dealer was surprised also)

Note that I am only running a 225 EFI. I dont know if that has anything to do with it or not.

All 2200 Gambler’s come standard with a Bobs 10" jack plate and the 2" spacers. And yes, they most certainly do make a difference in the boats performance.

Oh, I did not know that the 2200's came standard with the 2-inch spacers. My 2200 will be delivered later this month. I was just wondering if I should add the spacers after I get the boat. Sounds like it will come with spacers & that the spacers help performance. Thanks for the info guys..

I would make sure Gambler adds the spacers. I've seen 2200's that do not have them. The additional set-back allows the prop to run in less turbulant water and you will have less prop slip
