Hey guys, my gambler is really pixxing me off right now, I pulled the lids off the 2 rod lockers, to recover the underside, long story, but it needed to be done...

Went to re-install them last night... Anyone on here ever had their deck lids off before? Well, the 3 screws per hinge, go through about an inch of fiberglass... The three holes for the front hinge of my drivers side rod locker had the nuts tightened on them at the factory so they sank into the fiberglass...

When I removed them, it basically created an oversize hole in the fiberglass for all 3 screws, I have added stainless fender washers to avoid crushing all the fiberglass between the hinge, decklid and deck...

My problem is, when I put it all back together, the lid closes REALLY tight, and it looks like the hinge moves up and down when I close it... The other side gave me no problems at all, and those 3 holes being oversized are really the only difference between the 2 sides...

Anyone have any ideas or info for a frustated guy?
