trim/tilt assembly question

I have a 1978 Evinrude 115hp model#115899c Serial#J0001894 I took my old tilt/trim unit off that had a three wire motor, the wire colors were black,dark green,and a lighter green. The one I just bought also has a three wire motor,but the colors on it are black,light green and blue. My question is does the blue wire on the newer motor take the place of the dark green wire on the older one. thanks for the help.

the lighter green was probably blue at one time and may have faded. Hook it up to the blue.
