I find mine to be too small and never really have them sitting long enough to put away.
If you use yours is it just for transportation storage?

1 is used for rods, the other for "stuff" (life vest, rain gear, anchor, etc.)

Never thougt about puttin an anchor in mine. Do you use your anchor much and for what kind of fishing?
By the way I may sell my extra new prop and go ballistic on it.![]()

I was told my rod locker was 8 ft long, I have a Eagle 175. Well after I broke the tip off a 7-6 rd, I stopped putting rods in the locker.
Question everything!
I carry around 8 rods with me. Probably 3 on the deck, the rest in the port side locker. The starboard locker life jackers, buzz bait and spinner bait boxes. I also keep my anchor light in it.

I usually don't mine. A 7' rod is about the max on mine, and its tricky to get one of those in there. However I have no enclosed storage(just a metal carport), so I don't keep most of my gear in my boat for security purposes.

I'm with Trent on this one... One locker usually has 8-12 rods in it and the other is used for storage.

I cut all those tubes out of my HP after getting in a hurry and breaking several tips and rod guides. I just use rod socks and stack'm in there now

The anchor hasn't been used in a long time.
I built tubes out of PVC in the locker I use, to keep the rods from getting tangled. The rod sleeves are nice also, especially if I go fish out of someone elses boat and I store mine in there locker on the way to the lake.

3-4 rod combo's on the deck then I keep 6-10 more rigged and ready in the rod locker. As for the anchor, well... I think it's just extra weight that I don't need. Other storage lockers have nothing but tackle![]()
Definitely use the rod storage. Port side for rods (its the one with the rack for the 2003 MY) and starboard for other junk (tackle, rear light pole, jackets, etc.). Rod socks help me put more than a single rod per tube (although I only do this with two of the tubes). Anchor is in the front compartment with the bumpers. No worries with 7' rods. Probably could fit 7'6" no worries too.

I use the port side for rods when I travel, but take them out as soon as I get to the water, I leave maybe 2-3 in the box for extras. The starboard side holds jackets, tool kit, net, light poles, etc. I can barely squeeze a 7ft rod in my lockers and when I do they are bent so I try not to use them unless I have to.

Eagle has center rod locker. I keep 4-5 in there with socks and a couple more on the deck

Bait casters in the port side, spinning rods in the starboard. Tackle in the center compartments. Anchors under the seats and much more.

Center rod locker with rod racks on both sides with 3 rods on each side with extra oil, cast net , dock lines, and anchor in a small tub in the middle to keep them from sliding around and breaking rods. 4-6 rods on deck. Both dry storage boxes up front are full of tackle.
