    Parting out my 2000 201

OK guys, looks like I will be parting out my 2000 201.
To much damage to the hull to warrant fixing it.
Insurance says they cannot cover it so looks like I am on my own.
So the only thing I don't have is the driver side windshield. (broke in the same bumpy ride)
    I have a very strong 225 EFI
    trailer in pretty good shape
    10 inch manual jack plate
the kicker is I just put in brand new seats this spring. (ordered from Dean's and are like the sets now used in Legend boats)
I also have the old Cobra seats that are not in bad shape.
Anything else anyone is looking for let me know.

I need to get going on this ASAP, anything I can get to put towards a new boat will help.

Was the damage that bad? There are a couple of shops down south (1 around the Dallas area and another in Louisiana near Toledo Bend Reservoir) that specialize in a special hull covering. One is called gorilla hull and the other gator hull. Started because of all the heavy timber lakes around here. They both come with a lfetime warranty and the gator hull has been around a long time. Not sure if I have ever heard of a negative comment. I think the cost for a bass boat is in the 2000-3000 range, but that is a guess. You should be able to google it or call them. It might be worth making a drive if you can salvage your boat at a decent price.

Sounds like the gel coat has let loose from the bow to the transom. I kind of think of it like an ice cube tray when you bend it and it all lets loose.
I not sure what the stringers all look like but it sounds like there is some rot in the bilge area as far as far as the part that the batteries set on. Transom is solid as a rock just the inner guts that might be an issue.

Sorry to hear that the snake boat has bit the dust.

I might take some of your gagues if they still work. Assuming your's were the same as mine (Teleflex Prisim Red International) I need a Tach, trim, and water pressure gauge.

What do you want for them?

What shape are drivers side switch panel and front bow shroud in? If they're in good shape I'm interested.

If you have the butt seat I`d probably take that, and the wood grain control panel in the bow and by the drivers seat. If you could take pics of those and send to holliday1851@aol.com

    Thanks!

    What? I'm just asking!

Yeah, about to get sick of figuring out what is holding back my hopped up 200/250. Simons is about to get the ECU for a recurve, then I will bet I am going to have to spring for new injectors. Rebuild is solid, 145 across the board, 3% leak down, new stator, trigger, power packs, regulators, coils tested good. On the fuel side, new line from tank to motor, rebuilt fuel pump, rebuilt and checked twice VST, fuel pressure is good and holding, new reeds, rebuilt injectors.

Still not as strong as my sick motor we rebuilt. I think #4 injector either has some trash in it holding it open a little, or a weak/broken spring, or the wiring harness to the injectors has a weak spot in it. I'll know more once I get the ECU recurved. Sent the Brucato back for a full refund, it really didn't work on the motor!

What color is your carpet? I'd be interested in the deck extension. I have a 2001 201 with gray carpet.
