Well, Backlash is kind of a modest guy at times. He don't want to brag "too" much about the fact that he still owns the record for catching the "BIGGEST" fish in a Cobra boat. So since he won't post the pic.....I WILL !!!! He may not have caught the most but the biggest to date.

Wow...tough group ya bunch a bums! That is called a Larry Striper...kinda short and stocky....er, ah...plump...er, ah...oh forget it!

32lb 6oz striper caught with spinning equipment, 8# Seaguar Fluorocarbon InvisX, and a 1/4 oz lead head jig with a smoke colored grub. Actually I was fishing for smallies on main lake points and caught this instead. You will be happy to know CPR was administered (Catch, Photo, & Release) and the fish swam away to fight another day.

HMMM 32lb 6oz? We have one like that at our house and my five year old sleeps on it every night. I would have to weigh it but I would say it weighs less than a pound.

Oh, and headed to "the new best lake in the country" on Saturday with my son for 3 days. I sure hope he breaks his personal best, and wouldn't mind if he broke my personal best. Hopefully we will have some pics to share.

Just don't keep showing us that pic of the same bass. You know, the one where you kept changing shirts and boat locations and would take a pic each time holding the bass a different way! So I take it you're headed to Falcon! Boat is running great I assume after the repair???

Yes I am and yes it is!! One of the biggest problems that I had not checked was after the rebuild it never dawned on me to check the motor height. I checked it and I was 4" below pad, bumped her to 3.5 below and kept water pressure between 14-16 and got my baby back! That along with 89 octane and re-torque of the head bolts and it runs better now than before the rebuild. Now I can tell that I put some fiber reeds in it!!

Don't worry, you won't see the same fish over and over again, if we don't catch them, I am going to borrow some of the mounts at the lodge and run down to the boat with a hand full of shirts, dunk the mounts in water and take a few pics, change shirts and move the boat and dunk another mount. I'll use my camera phone so the quality won't give it away.

Can't wait!!! When the pros go, if the fish are even remotely on, you won't want to miss the coverage. I can almost guarantee you are going to hear some sad stories about big fish getting off, and some big hogs that will get weighed in.

Hasta la vista!!!! (and any prayers that we get good weather and the boy gets in a big one would be appreciated, last year was rough with 3 days of north wind on a lake that doesn't get cold fronts very often.)
