Seat cushion replacement

Well, Here's another question for you guy's. I know i been asking a lot latley.

The seat vinyl on my boat is still in good conditionbut the foam is beginning to break down. gets flattened out after riding a while.

Anyone ever replace the foam in the seat bottoms? or know where i can get some foam to replace the old stuff?

Or is it worth the time.

FishMoore...Only you can really determine if it's worth the time or not. But, if you elect to forge ahead and replace the foam you can get some inside information by contacting the company here in Mountain Home, AR that made your seats (as they did in all Cobra's).....very good company and very nice folks too. Call Dean's Top & Canvas at 870-425-6189 and see what they have to say.

Ok, I gotta ask. What are the 2 black strips you have on the carpet, at the 4 corners of your boat? I thought they might be tie down straps, but you have tie down straps in the front, so that's probably not it. I give up. Please tell me.

BTW - good looking Cobra. Almost as good looking as mine. LOL
ps; They're all good looking.

Re: Seat cushion replacement (Greg Heinz)

May guess would be non-skid strips for boarding and unboarding...only a guess though!

Re: Seat cushion replacement (Greg Heinz)

My son also uses my boat, he has a buddy with a stereo shop. They decided it was time for some tunes in the boat.

The strips keep the speakers from flying out! Velcrow

I actually started a recarpet job on the boat last week. most of the carpet has been removed, all of the locker covers.
I removed the helm and cables for the steering, I am converting to Hydraulic, just don't feel like replacing the cables again.
The gauges have also been pulled, got new white ones from Faria on the way.

I have a lot of work ahead of me, and i travel a lot for work, but i have to get it done before the first week of March, as i'm fishing in the Louisiana Oilemn's tournament on Toledo Bend.
I'll try to post some pics tomorrow of what's left of the boat before i start the installation of all the NEW STUFF! Right now it looks terrible with all the parts removed.
