2001 javelin venom 18ft 1988 150hp evirude E150STL069 R1820556 Rebilt in 2005 by cerified mecanic. Started having trouble with idle and oil signal so Idisconected vro run better for a while and got rough again so I replace timer base run little better but soon wood not take off replaced power pack now runs 62mph gps but still ldles rough . It has allways idle high when motor is trimed up and idle down when tilt down, is this norma?I switch wires from stator to pack and no change so is it carbs,stator or rectifier? Compression is 120 on all cyd. new plug wires, all plugs fireing. Carbs were also rebuilt in 2005. I dont think anything wrong with vro if I get it running right will put back on. The reason I working on it myself everybodys back up this time of year and figure may as well learn to work on it Im retired and hadnt got much else to do. Appreciate any help. I also put new manifold gastet and I just check kill wires and the vro side has voltage but motor kills good,now what should I do?
