You boys and girls better watch out, cause the young underdog is coming up!! This was our big fish of the tournament for my jr. club and helped me earn 3rd place. She weighed seven even on the scale and crushed a spook in the morning. Sadly, I missed second by 1/100 of a pound. Oh well, as long as I do decent in our next tourney I advance to state championships. So if/when I go to state championships I'd like to get my hands on a Cobra tourney shirt so I can represent Cobra. So Kathy, even though the plant isn't up and running yet do ya think you could help me out with the shirt if you can?? Or at least point me to someone who can?? Thanks. Well guys, the only thing that might stop me from fishing this weekend would be gas prices. But I might just hit up the local lake or go and visit my grandparents in Ione with the rest of my family. One of my favorite lakes is only ten minutes away from there. Pop and I won our first tourney there about 4 or 5 years ago. WOW!! Has it really been 5 years already?!! I'm getting old.

You know you're getting old when the reason that you aren't going fishing is because you are painting the house getting it ready for new carpet. Things that haven't crossed your mind yet. Enjoy your youth and ask dad to fill the tank. It ends too quickly and the next thing you know you have a mortgage.

Sorry guys no lunkers over the weekend for me but my dad did land a nice six pound stud. But of course where is the camera?? Sittin' at home... Oh well, give me another chance I have to prefish for my jr. club tourney this weekend and I'll make sure that the camera comes along. I only need to make the top 4 in this tourney and I go to state championships!!
