Here are some photos of my Lowrance installation in my Coral. As you can see, I made a block to mount it on the left side and ran the wires through the hole where the tach used to be. I made a cover to accomodate the wires using a round plastic electrical outlet cover from Home Depot. I moved the tach over to the right side and took out the speedo since the Lowrance has GPS anyway. Unfortunately, my tach fell apart the other day so that's why there is a hole there now.

Anyway, the Lowrance works great there and does not get in the way of steering.
