Livewell leaking

My livewell must not b shutting off all the way. It loses water fast. How do I fix that?

Sounds like the drain/fill valve is not closing all the way. Be my first place to look.

If it is the valve, you can get a kit to replace the flappers and o-rings if needed from Flow-Rite

Yep, they all leak after a while, sediment and silk get in there, just wish the task of getting to it was easyer...

The key to preventing failure is to only open it when you are out of the water and keep it closed while launching. Replaced two the first four years I owned my boat. Always left it open when launching. Now I make sure it is closed and have not replaced one since.
