Are U fishing McDonalds on Fork 9/23,24,25

If you are planning on doing this, be advised, lake should be around 7' low by then, right now its about 6.5' low, only 7 ramps are open, I am starting to see stumps in places I have not seen in many years, bottom line is, this lake is getting stupidly dangerous, please, please, please if you fish this, be very careful. I have fished this lake since it opened, have fished this tourney for years, thru cold fronts, tornados, and hurricanes, but this is one I will sit out. I gonna sit on my point, drink beer and eat popcorn, remember if you watch the monkey long enough, he'll put on a pretty good show..............................

Just FYI guys, don't want to read about u in the Mineola Paper

Low water doesnt scare me half as bad as 1,000 + boats on the water. Crazy people.

    Re: (stogie)

    how about 3000 plus boats?
actually the lake is pretty safe now, most of the stumps are above the water.
that is "most of them " some are just about lower unit high below the water.

the main thing will be getting on/off the lake at the very marginal ramps
    without tearing up a prop

There are plenty of stumps in the boat lanes now.

The lake it seems is turning over now and it is nasty, my wife and I got brown funk all over us on Sat. in the main lake just from reeling our line in. Myself and three friends never got a bite in two days, my wife caught five though.

The water is less than 3' deep at the ramp at mustang resort and the channel is only as wide as the ramp so you may need to back up all the way to the main lake.
