    Fuel Capacity- Can you help?

Does any of you know the fuel capacity of my 1994 190 DCX? It has a reserve tank too. I've put between 15 and 25 gallons in at a time and put 6 gallons in the reserve JIC. Just trying to figure out how much this thing will hold total. Also, if you know what the weight of my rig is too that would be great! Thanks much!

I have a 93' 190DCX Elite. The main tank holds 31 gal and the aux holds 17 gal for a total of 48 gal. Not a 100% sure but I think mine weighs around 1500lbs empty. I have a Merc 200EFI with a Yamaha 25M prop on a 8" Rapid jack jackplate and trim extenders. Motor is at 3.75 " below the pad. At 3.5" or less, water pressure was right at 12 psi at WOT (turns 58 to 5900RPM). At the current setup it runs between 15 and 18 psi (12 is min but I wanted a little more). The boat has a tendency to be bow heavy but the Yamamha prop and trim extenders makes up for the lift needed to get it up on it's pad correctly and it is very distinctive when that happens at around 55 mph GPS. I get right at 69mph GPS fully loaded 3/4 tank of gas, no water in live well and 1 person. Add another person and water in the well and/or full fuel and I'll see about 65 GPS.

I was looking into trim extenders too, but DAH props said that he can tune the prop so I don't use so much trim and that will help with speed as well since you don't have to get the engine at such an angle for lift. Just need to get another 300 bucks to get the prop worked over. We will see.

You need to talk to Mark Croxton on the Prop Fourm he is the best prop person.

Both Mark and DAH do great prop work. I send all mine to mark but I wouldn't be scared to send one to DAH.

This is good to know considering DAH is very close to where my Boat is Kept.
