Wow what a difference with the TM mount

As I thought my memory was correct those old Gator mounts were great. Some of you might recall: I bought an 8-9 year old gator mount from a fellow BBC member.

The mount arrived yesterday and it was in super good condition, I had very few touch up's to do, and a new foot on the bounce buster.

This unit replaced a 2007 model year 360 MG mount that was a crapper from day one.

Took the wiffy out this AM and just as I remembered the old Gators were great.

Gone is the clunk, and gone is motor shaft slipage and sloppy storing.

This new 2 me mount is: the oldest part on my boat but I flat-out love it.

I've been cussing mine lately and I've got one like you're talking about new/never installed sitting in a storeroom. I think you've inspired me!

Nice Butch! I need a piece of that grip stuff to put on my bow (for stepping on). Where can I get some?

I personnaly like the old 'GATOR' logo on those mounts... They don't put them on the newer ones anymore...

I agree. That logo looked cool. Thanks for the link Butch! As always, you know the name, address, and security number of the manufacturer.

Looking good my friend. You will be happy with that purchase. That will rank up there with the powerpole and the troll eze.

A Fortrex sure would look good on that ride. Did you check out the new PP review from the I-Cast and dad gum that new H-bird looks bad too.

Foretex is a strong well made motor - but it sticks up to damn high for me...

One of the reasons I refuse to own a MK. They are quieter than a MG though

I put some on the front of my boat this spring, since the new trolling motor was hitting the boat.

    I got mine from C&O.

My Maxxum Pro 80 pedal fits in the factory recess fine, but as soon as I start having trouble with it, I'm going back to a MG in a heartbeat. On my third season with the MK and I still HATE the foot pedal
