The 203 is slightly wider, where the sides meet the bottom of the hull, there is a slight flair out. This makes the boat more stable at rest, but it is sllightly heavier, slightly slower, and tends to sail more when running fast in rough water. And a '95 model 202 is lighter than the later 202's.
Both are great boats, and the differences are small. So don't get me wrong. I would take a 203 over any other brand of 20' bassboat available. I had one. But after driving a handful of 202's, I would buy a 202 first. And with big power, they will really fly. One of the boats I drove had a 250 ProXB, and it was a monster in rough water.

The 202 will be 3-4 miles an hour quicker than the 203 with the same motor and well as handle slightly better in turns. The 203 has a bit larger storage boxes on the back deck, and has straighter sides father up the boat with a large hard chine under the front deck, which makes it significantly more stable while fishing. I owned a 202 and went to a 203. The 202 was more fun to drive, but for me the 203 is the best compromise of "fishablity" and performance available in a boat.
Both are great boats, and the differences are a total taste thing, and if I was buying used I'd go with whichever was in the better shape, tho I am a hardcore 203 fan.
thanks for all the info. i currently own a 95 202 and my dad owns a 99 203 that we fishied out of this weekend and was just wandering what the differences were. Thank you all very much for the input. We both love our champs. I've had other brands and came back to the champs.

i have always liked the 203 but which one do like to fish out of yours or your dad's
really can not tell much of a difference in th fishing aspect but can tell in the handling a little bit. Still really like the both of them. I will try to get some pics on here soon of both of them.
