    H U G E price reduction !!!

I got an IM from a fellow BBCer and he said I should put this out there again because people might not check the other threads I have about it. The price has been ground to the very bottom. Come get it before it's too late ! $17,500 will get you one nice outfit.

No offense intended and I hope you get your boat sold, but how do these posts on this Champion thread site mesh with the "no boats for sale in this forum" Rule?

    Re: H U G E price reduction !!! (Bounce)

I believe as long as you have it listed on the "Boats for Sale" board, it is OK to post about it. Saint Lea can, and will, correct me if I am misguided...

No offense taken Skip. WaYoop is right. A lot of times Champion owners know of someone looking for a Champ. What better way to keep it in the "family" if you will.

Thanks for the info. I agree that these posts help keep us informed about what's available from the tribe, I just didn't know about the rule interpretation. As the "real" Champs tend to get more rare, I expect we'll see more cross posts.

Hi Bounce. Definitely understand your question. It is OK to reference your boat for sale here in the Champ forum as long as it is listed in the 4Sale forum first.

    Re: H U G E price reduction !!! (Lea)

Well I got an IM from Lea and she said maybe if people knew why I was selling it would make a difference, depending on the reason. It's simple... I've had a couple of back injuries in the past and have missed time at work and that gets expensive and management seems to hold it against you. Can't afford more time off financially and I want to leave work on my own terms and when I'm ready. I cannot take standing in a boat for very long anymore. 30 years of hard tourny fishing has caught up to me along with these injuries. There is nothing wrong with my boat, it just needs a new owner. If you are one of the guys that I sent pics to and are worried about anything on it, rest easy knowing it's ready to fish and a fine rig. As I've always done in the past when I sold one, I tell you everything about it I know. No one likes suprises when they show up to check one out. There are several guys on here that have bought boats from me in the past that I'm sure would vouche for my honesty. Check it out if you're looking to buy, you won't be disappointed. Jim

    Re: H U G E price reduction !!! (champit)

Just wanted to chime in and back up champit. My cousin bought his blue and silver 202 a few years back and to this day it still runs like a rocket. I have fished out of it several times and it's a great boat. I actually took the ride out to Iowa with him to pick it up. It was spotless and he got a great deal on it. I'm not trying to speak for my cousin just letting everyone know what I know about it.

Thanks Brad. Rocket is an understatement for sure. That is the fastest 202 with a stock 225 EFI I have ever ridden in or seen. I've been curious as to how it all turned out. If I remember right that is the first high performance boat he has driven or owned. Ole Blue was a blast to drive. My partner Wags at the time actually had to teach me. That thing is literally a beast. That's one I should have kept. Plenty of boats saw the business end of Ole Blue during a tourny. They didn't see it long though. If he ever wants to have some fun, tell him to take everything out of it, troller batts, gear, etc. and keep the fuel real low. Go for a ride on a cool day and hang on. That's a true 83+ mph boat if he can hang on and not soil himself. Why don't you come and get this 203 ? HT it and get some serious HP and he will see your back end plenty.

    Re: H U G E price reduction !!! (champit)

Jim has had some nice boats over the years and I have had the chance to ride and help get the boats in shape with him.

I have not seen this boat in person but if its like any of the others he has made them run better, look better, and fish better, no one will go wrong buying this boat.

    Re: H U G E price reduction !!! (champit)

Jim, I would love to have that 203. I can't tell you how many times I have gone over the the boats for sale pages to look at it. If I knew I could unload my 186 right away it would be awful tempting. I saw what kind of shape ole blue was in and knowing that I would not hesitate to make another 8 or 9 hour trip to your place. Anway good luck with the selling process.
