May be a dumb question - but I need to replace my jack on my 2001 Champion trailer. The jack has the "bracket" made into the trailer, but all the jacks I see to buy come with the bracket that bolts to the trailer frame. My jack looks to have a big split ring? that holds it on where it pivots, while the ones I see in the store have a bolt through the center of the pivot. Am I making this harder than it is - or do I have to have get a special jack? Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated!!
