Evenrude 150 HO question?

I have looked at several 185 ranger boats with 150 evenrude HO direct injection,they have 21 pitch props on them, this seem to smll for what I've seen on other engines, My question is , does these engines turn more rpms to so to use a smaller pitch prop? Are they a reliable motor? In general what kind of motor are they,good top end, good torque etc. ? Any thoughts, and opinions please, thanks
