How much maintenance do you do?

As the title says, when it comes to basic maintenance, how much do you do and when do you decide to take it to a service center?
I've never been known as mechanically adept, more like challenged... But I have found YouTube videos to help me get over some of my fear. Electric makes me nervous. I did manage to service the hot water tank this spring....!

I usually do most things myself with the exception of warranty work.

I pretty much do all mine. I have a soft wall that I'm gonna tackle this winter.

I had a 31' travel trailer for 20 years, and had to rebuild the bedroom and the living room after having "soft walls" and corner leaks. You've got to watch them very closely for leaks--simply put. My trailer stays in a campground 300 miles away in the mountains.

You don't want to wait until Spring to do maintenance, as freezing water can wreck your pipes and hot water heater. They must be drained and/or filled with antifreeze in the Fall.

We now have a new fifth wheel trailer. Believe me that we'll be watching it closely in the future for problems. It's much higher quality than our old trailer, but still needs to be cleaned periodically.

All of it. I can't think of an issue that I wouldn't tackle myself. For the most part, there isn't a thing that the dealer could do for me, that I couldn't do myself.

I'm with bassn5150, I'm pretty handy and have all the tools. I wouldn't trust a dealer to wash my rig let alone work on it.

My dealer charges $125 per labor hour--for anything. It's a great motivator to learn how to do RV repair.

If it is not warranty I will take care of any issue, boat or 5th wheeler.
